Team Bailey: Unique Boutique Salon-a-Thon

Saturday, Sept. 11th, was Unique Boutique's Team Bailey Salon-a-thon day! All the gals were donating a part of their services towards Team Bailey! Besides their regular services, they had a bake sale, vendors to shop from, Team Bailey bracelets to buy or make, and a raffle for a 2005 Harley Davidson! (You can still buy tickets by contacting Erica at the Salon).

Y103 was even there for a live remote!

Here's a great story...the stylist sitting down holding her foot, ran into another gal's shoe right before the day began and was pretty sure she broke her little toe! She didn't let that stop her-she had a full day of cuts ahead of her! The next picture shows her working with a boot on....what a trooper! Way to be a part of Team Bailey!!

Meet Bailey

Bailey is a 10 year old girl, who was born with Osteopetrosis, which means brittle bones. She has broken over 37 bones and had quite a few major surgeries. In the fall of 2009, her doctors suggested that a bone marrow transplant would hopefully help cure her of this disease. In May of 2010, she began her journey of courage at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indiana.

In February of 2011, she returned home to begin her time of recovery. Now, it is 2012, and she is in 5th grade and doing great! She hasn't even broken a bone at all! What a blessing and miracle! God is amazing!!!
